The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work started work in 1996 and is based in Bilbao, Spain.
The legal basis for the Agency's activities are two Council Regulations - 2062/94 and 1643/95 (the latter made arrangements to include 3 new EU Member States in 1995).
"in order to encourage improvements in the working environment, the Agency shall provide the Community bodies, the Member States and those involved in health and safety at work with the technical, scientific and economic information of use in the field of safety and health at work."

Organizzazione no profit nata nel 1996, per "prima", appunto, ha parlato di Mobbing in Italia. Intende intervenire ed operare sulle problematiche connesse a questo fenomeno, da un lato dedicandosi alla prevenzione delle cause scatenanti, dall'altro offrendo assistenza e sostegno a coloro che ne hanno subito gli effetti.
"PRIMA" intende realizzare il suo scopo attraverso:
a) la promozione, il sostegno e il coordinamento di ricerche scientifiche, consulenze studi, pubblicazioni e seminari sul tema del Mobbing;
b) la sensibilizzazione, l'informazione, la consulenza e l'assistenza sullo sviluppo post-formativo, in particolare rivolgendosi a lavoratori con incarichi decisionali, assistenti, formatori ed interessati. I risultati formativi verranno integrati da verifiche e controlli sulla sedimentazione delle nozioni impartite e da interventi tesi al miglioramento delle prestazioni;
c) la prevenzione, la cura e la riabilitazione psico-fisica, sociale e professionale delle vittime del Mobbing attraverso terapie ambulanti e stazionarie adeguate alla causa scatenante.

L'unica maniera per soffocare la persona fastidiosa, perché affidabile,(quindi, chi aggredisce é quasi sempre un concorrente della persona vittima del mobbing), é attaccarla senza che se ne accorga (o in maniera che non paia un attacco soprattutto per chi vi é intorno), in modo da non avere nessuna possibilitá di difendersi e creando intorno a questa persona un contorno di mezze veritá, condite ad arte per poter presentare il soggetto per ció che non é, e cioé per una persona inaffidabile, malvagia ecc. ecc. Uno specchio riflettente del suo aggressore, codardo e senza alcun valore morale di base.SAPMED. Associazione che approfondisce il problema del Mobbing in Sanità.

UNITED KINGDOM
The UK National Workplace Bullying Advice Line was founded by Tim Field in January 1996. The rate of calls increased after the Advice Line was featured in Paul Gosling's article Workplace bullies under the cosh in the Independent on Sunday on 28 January 1996. The phone hasn't stopped ringing since. The Advice Line is run entirely by Tim Field, receives no external funding, and is funded by sales of the books Bullycide: death at playtime, Bully in sight and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Bullydissolver.- This website aims to provide help and support to all employees who find themselves in the unfortunate position of being bullied. The website also extends its help and support to the spouses of bullied targets, who are often known as the "Unseen Heroes".
Bullies Down Under provides information and guidance to stop workplace bullying of adults, worker abuse, psychological and psychiatric injury with links to Tim Field's website.
Foundation for the Study of Work Trauma "Organisational, work group related and personal causes of mobbing/bullying at work". This article investigates the causes of mobbing (bullying) at work. Mobbing is defined as a severe form of social stressors at work. Unlike “normal” social stressors, mobbing is a long lasting, escalated conflict with frequent harassing actions systematically aimed at a target person. It is argued that the organisation, the social system, a certain perpetrator and the victim have to be considered as potential causes of mobbing. Results of two samples of mobbing victims and a control group support this view. It is concluded that one-sided explanations on the causes of mobbing are likely to be inappropriate and that many cases are characterised by multi-causality – a common finding in conflict research.
The Bullying Project The Bullying Project can come to your elementary, middle, or high school to: train teachers and administrators to set limits on bullying behavior, support targets of bullying, and help bullies change. Teachers learn specific techniques, examine existing discipline practices, and develop plans for bullying prevention.
Anti-bullying network.- The Scottish Executive has established the Network so that teachers, parents and young people can share ideas about how bullying should be tackled. It is freely open to all.
Advice for Young People :
Bullying is WRONG
Nobody has the right to hurt other people by hitting them, kicking them, calling them names, spreading rumours about them or by doing anything else which is intended to be upsetting.
If this is happening to you, tell yourself that it is not your fault, and that it is the bullies who need to change, not you.
